Our Commitment

Spectra Oilfield Service is committed to safety. To preserve the safety of our employees, the environment, general public and our customers we have developed a number of tools to assist us in achieving our safety goals.

HSE Program Manual

Details all aspects of our safety program.

Quality Assurance Manual

Provides us with policies and procedures for ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.

Safety Training Standards

Meet current legislations, regulations, codes and best practices. All field employees are required to have First Aid, H2S, Fall Protection Awareness, Petroleum Safety Training (IRP 16), AND WHMIS. Drivers of commercial vehicles are also required to have Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and a driver improvement course such as GODI, Oilfield Hauler, Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC) or other similar courses.

We have an extensive in-house training program that provides training on pertinent aspect of the job and in compliance with current legislations and codes. It includes computer based training courses and on-the-job training.

Safety Meetings

Monthly General Safety Meetings, Pre-Job Safety Meetings, which includes Hazard Identification and Control, and Joint Health and Safety Committee Meetings are held to discuss any issues related to safety.

Certificate of Recognition

We have had our COR since January, 2009. We have chosen to have our safety program audited by an external auditor on a yearly basis for our maintenance audits.
